1.0 YOUR PRIVACY ON TPI.NET
The primary purpose of this Web site is to disseminate information. Such information is entitled to the protection specified therein, but does not represent an offer by TPI to perform any services as such. An obligation only arises pursuant to an agreement specific to the parties covering the terms and conditions applicable to such services. We want you to feel secure when visiting our site and are committed to maintaining your privacy when doing so.
2.0 WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Information on TPI.net is gathered in two ways: (1) indirectly (e.g., through our site's technology) and (2) directly (e.g., when you provide information on various pages of TPI.net).
One example of information we collect indirectly is through our Internet access logs. When you access TPI.net, your Internet address is collected automatically and placed in our Internet access logs.
We may collect information directly from you in a number of ways, some of which we describe in this policy. One way is through the use of “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that save and retrieve information about your visit to TPI.net — for example, how you entered our site, how you navigated through the site and what information was of interest to you. The cookies we use identify you merely as a number. You have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your Internet browser preferences, you have the ability to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. Please note that if you choose to reject all cookies, you may be unable to use those services or engage in activities that require the placement of cookies.
We also may collect information when you voluntarily submit it to us. For example, throughout our site, we provide the opportunity to view a white paper or research report, or subscribe to a newsletter. When we collect this type of information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for information and how this information will be used.
3.0 HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
TPI's primary goal in collecting personal data is to help us determine what is most effective about our site, what needs to be improved and to identify ways to make improvements. We also may use such information for other purposes, such as providing data services including reports and newsletters; we will describe such purposes to you at the point when we collect the information. To the extent we will charge for providing such services, we may need to capture additional information such as credit card details, either directly through our site or by utilizing the services of a third party.
4.0 TO WHAT EXTENT DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH OTHERS?
Except as outlined in this policy or on our Web sites, TPI does not provide your personal information to third parties without your consent. Please note that, in special cases, we may need to share information without acquiring consent, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our sites' terms of use or may be violating TPI's or others' rights.
In addition, TPI shares the information you provide with its subsidiaries and associated companies.

TPI is committed to protecting the information you provide us. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, TPI has appropriate physical and managerial procedures in place to safeguard the information we collect.
Where appropriate we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when collecting or transferring certain data. SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but us. This security measure is working when you see either the symbol of an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) on the bottom of your browser window. However, TPI cannot ensure or otherwise warrant the security of any information you provide to us or from our Web site and, therefore, you use our site at your own risk.
As a global company TPI has international sites and users all over the world. The personal information you provide may be transmitted, used, stored and otherwise processed outside of the country where you submitted that information, including jurisdictions that may not have data privacy laws that provide equivalent protection to such laws in your home country. Whenever TPI handles personal information, regardless of where this occurs, we take appropriate steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy statement and all applicable laws and regulations.
7.0 WHY DO WE LINK TO OTHER WEB SITES?
We use links to other Internet sites to improve your experience of our Web site. We will always try to make these links clear by opening them in a new window of your Web browser. However, please be aware that these Web sites may be owned and run by other companies and organizations. Third-party information or access to other Web sites through this site does not constitute an endorsement or authentication of matters presented therein. It may contain errors in form or substance, and TPI assumes no responsibility therefore. Your access and use of such Web sites remains solely at your own risk.
